There are a variety of new programs done in conjunction with The Paul L. Foster School of Medicine Departments of Psychiatry and Neurology. These programs are overseen by School of Medicine faculty members, such as Dr. Gonzalo Diaz, Dr. David Briones and resident physicians and medical students.
- Insomnia Clinic (a broader assessment and treatment of patients who can’t sleep at night)
- Childhood sleep disorder problems, including attention deficit disorders
- Post-traumatic stress disorders
- Pediatric sleep disorder

Since 1977, the American Academy of Sleep Medicine (AASM) Standards for Accreditation have been the gold standard by which the medical community and the public evaluate sleep medicine facilities. Achieving AASM accreditation demonstrates a sleep medicine provider’s commitment to high quality, patient-centered care through adherence to these standards.
